A multiplate, multicoloured soft-ground and aquatint etching. This print is part of a series which explores losing a part of yourself to save the rest or allow the rest to recover or grow. For me this personally explores my emotions leading up to myself having a preventative mastectomy in July 2023 due to my incredibly high risk of breast cancer and having the BRCA1 mutation.
