A Large Photopolymer Etching. The image has been created by exposing pressed dried lilies onto the plate creating this bold but delicate design.

This print is part of a series which explores losing a part of yourself to save the rest or allow the rest to recover or grow. For me personally explores my emotions around the lead up to myself having a preventative mastectomy in July 2023 due to my incredibly high risk of breast cancer because of a BRCA1 gene mutation. How my body will change, but I will still be the same, and just refracting.
