An original print by the artist Rhianna Catt with a limited edition run of 50. Each one hand signed and numbered by herself. This print was chosen and exhibited at RE International Original Print Exhibition 2022 at the Bankside Gallery.

She is incredibly inspired by moths and has recently created a large body of work surrounding them. The symbolism is superficially extremely important to her, including to but no specifically, rebirth, change, transformation and regeneration. Also even though they live in darkness they are attracted to light, which mirrors certain aspects of her life in the past. She also been recently exploring process and opening up new doors and avenues within her work, creating smaller pieces of work but pushing with different processes to improve her work technically as well as aesthetically.

This print is a hard ground and aquatint etching, with the plate produced on copper and the paper being 100% cotton high quality Somerset Satin White 300gsm paper. The image is printed with lightfast intaglio printmaker etching ink and is a mix mainly of black but with a hint of yellow.
